The Celebration Dress |

| This was actually the first
outfit I made. I couldn't resist the white after all the gloomy black she wore.
This was the second cape I made; the first one was ruffled, and I didn't think it
matched the "petal" design well enough. The dress is a purchased Barbie bridal gown. I added a tie shaped piece made out of white fabric and used gold and brown paint to create the design. I used extra doll hair to make the headpiece since I don't do hair well. The diadem is made of seed beads on wire, both dark and light gold. The fan is a iridescent material on a wire hoop, with gold wire and plastic pearls securing the ends of the wire. I used Fray Block to keep the edges of the iridescent fabric from fraying, both in the fan and the petals.
